This league is designed to allow all beginner-intermediate golfers ages 7-14 to get used to playing the golf course while keeping an honest score. Every golfer is paired up with other kids in their own age division and skill level. The beginners play from designated tees located in the fairway on all par 3's, 4's and 5's. Once the golfer has achieved scores of bogey or better per hole, we advance them so they will play from the next set of tees and begin challenging them to score close to par per hole. The overall goal is to have the player shoot 45 or better from their designated teeing area. If the more advanced players can shoot 45 or better from the Red tees, we would recommend they challenge themselves by playing from the White tees. We do recommend that each junior that signs up for the association has completed at least one session of our junior golf clinics.
- Our league runs every Monday throughout the summer for 8 -10 weeks
- Tee times begin at 10:00 AM weekly
- Once a player has a set foursome, they will start the same time each week
- We will assume that by signing up that your child will be there to play every week unless we hear otherwise. To save on valuable tee times we would ask that you let us know well in advance if your child will miss due to planned vacations...etc
- The cost for the league is $50.00 (does not includes weekly greens fees)
- We have partnered with the Youth on Course Foundation which allows you to play for just $5.00 per 9. Visit www.youthoncourse.org for details. Otherwise our standard daily junior rate is $10.00 per 9. We have also designed a punch card for $80.00 that will provide an additional $2.00 savings per 9. This card includes (10) 9 hole rounds valid to be used Monday-Friday only.
- We will host a tournament and bbq / banquet the final week of play and provide each player with a t shirt and tournament prizes at that time.
